Stately sophistication in The Goring Room
The exchanging of vows. The giving of rings. The rest of your life begins.
Whether it’s decked with fresh-cut flowers or filled to capacity with loved ones, The Goring Room is the perfect place to say those two special words. Named after George Goring, the lawyer and MP who originally built the house in the 16th century, it can be configured for both intimate and large-scale gatherings with seats for up to 125 guests – rising to 150 with some standing.
An al fresco ‘I do’
We’re also licensed to hold outdoor weddings. Ceremonies take place in The Gazebo, surrounded by our pristine manicured lawns, with the rolling South Downs in the distance.
