Your East Sussex Wedding Reception
Once your ceremony is over, the celebrations begin. Kick things off with welcome drinks served in The Garden Room bar or out on the terrace. Your guests will have a chance to mingle, converse, and take in the views of the expansive gardens and the beautiful South Downs.
The Blencowe Room
In days gone by, The Blencowe Room was where esteemed guests were received, wined and dined. Today, its historic wood panelling, dramatic marble pilasters and artistic lighting create the perfect setting for your wedding reception. This is where you and your guests will dine on fine food and drink crafted with creativity and care by Pelham House.
The Garden Room
The Garden Room is just across the hall from The Blencowe Room. This is where you’ll find a specially designed bar, half-height wood panelling, beautiful wooden floor. Sink into comfortable sofas and armchairs in a muted palette of colours and soft fabrics. Natural light floods in from the wall of tall windows – in summer months, there’s nothing lovelier than swinging open the patio doors to bring the outside in. In winter, you can tailor the mood lighting to create a cosy, intimate ambience.
The evening reception
As the day draws to a close, the evening reception begins. Treat guests to a second sitting of delicious options ranging from wood-fired pizza to wok-food cooked in the outdoor kitchen – cuisine best served on the terrace beneath a blanket of stars.
